Hello to all, this is a guide created by me with the help of my friend, Darrel. Seeing the absence of a guide for str dits now, I decided to come up with one myself, and pls pardon me for any mistakes as it is my 1st guide.

As many may have realised that my forum account has been suspended, making me unable to update my previous guide, thus i had created a new guide here. Apple and Kong are the same person. zzz.

Although this is a str dit guide, but i feel it is pretty much applicable for luck dits as well, juz ignore the strength part bah. Note that this is just a guide for you to follow. I promise to update it whenever I can =)

Background

Q:why a strength bandit? It is so confusing on what stats to add!

Well we are a unique class of people who have to pump 3 stats compared to the others. As for the stats, it is actually not confusing at all, pump dex n str to enable you to wear the particular equipment u wanna wear, while luck is the main attack damage component for thief.
Str dits r played by matured players, immatured children are discouraged from playing due to lack of intellectual need to play str dits

Q: HUH? then WTH is strength for????

Strength brings up the minimum dmg, while luck brings up the maximum dmg. so basically str dits have a smaller dmg range BECAUSE we use strength to bring up our MINIMUM dmg, thus making our dmg very stable. EG. our SB may be 800 700 800 900 800 750 compared to a luck dit's of 600 600 1000 700 500 900

You can disagree, but you cannot insult a strength dit. if u are someone who juz dies for high damage, and is power hungry, dun read my guide n insult str dits.

Q: what is the diff b/w a luck n str dit?

Pros:

- Str dits weapons r much cheaper than a luck dit’s
- Str dits have a more stable damage range due to our narrow range of attack compared to the luck dit’s which has its highs and lows.
- Str dits weapons are cooler(subjective to every one)
- When ppl see a str dit, they go “wow” due to how rare it is to see a str dit.
- You also get to join the prestigious Aquila, Bootes and Cassiopeia Strength Dit Hall of Fame

Cons:

- You get despised by luck dits who claims tat str dit sux
- they think that str dits r weak.


Q: I heard there r different builds for a str dit! wad r they?

They mainly of 3 kinds: the normal build which follows my guide, the low str pure luck build, and the low dex build.
Normal build is obvious, it follows my guide, requiring prehaps the least mesos of all.
Low str pure luck build does not pump dex after 25, and pumps str to 35 to enable them to wear the Lvl 65 weapon, Fan, with the rest of the AP into luck. This requires the most fund to buy all the godly weapons. Prehaps the most godly dmg of the three.
Low dex str dit, their base dex is usually below 90. they obtain their dex from eq like shoes capes n earrings. almost as costly as a pure luck low str dit

Q: cool! so how much dex should i pump?

how much dex u have depends on how funded u r. if u are very rich n funded, u can pump lesser dex n get ur dex from ur eq like cape shoes or bottoms. but u must ensure tat ur TOTAL dex is enuf to wear ur desired equipment. to check wads ur equipment requirements pls go www.hidden-street.net

Beginning of a rouge

I guess to get a perfect stats str dit it is the easiest, you just need a 4 for int, you dun have to care abt the rest =)

Lvl 1-10
Stay in Maple Island and kill snails to lvl. Make sure you have at least 25 dex by lvl 10 before you proceed to Kerning City to meet the darklord.

Lvl 11-15
Go to Hensey Hunting ground for quick leveling on snails n slimes.

Lvl 15-23
Train on orange mushrooms or pigs at pig beach now

Lvl 24-30
Huge Bubling slimes at the subway or Green n Horny mushroom if you are bored. PQ is good too.
central way near the end of lvl 2x.

Q: where are the strength?

Well if you add strength in the 1st job advancement, you damage will be quite low. As strength is just to help us bring up the lower end of the damage range, while luck brings up the higher end of the damage range.

Bandit

Head back to Thieves' Hideaway once you've reached Lv 30, which is located at the cafe in Kerning City. Go inside, talk to Dark Lord. He'll give you a letter and you've to pass it to the job advancement instructor near Kerning City. After giving the letter, you'll be given an errand to collect 30 Dark Marbles by defeating the monsters inside. Be careful to stock your potions up before you start collecting the 30 Dark Marbles.
Once you've collected 30 Dark Marbles, talk to the instructor, and he'll award you with a Proof of a Hero. Go back to Kerning City Thieves' Hideaway, and talk to Dark Lord once again, where then you'll advance as the Bandit.

Congratz now I admit this stage is a bit boring but ENDURE! 3rd job is dam fun!

Lvl 30- 38
Zombie mushroom, wild boar, crows,sheep, evil eyes your choice

Lvl 39- 42
Evil Eyes, Flaming Racoons, leeching at PQ is nice too

Lvl 43-47
Fire Boars and kitties are good now. Esp nice drops for kitties. You can go Lupins and Lorang too. At Lvl 47 to 51 Pq is good, cos you can inflict a lot of damage on Alisha, you can get the most EXP among the other jobs =)

Lvl 48-53
Cold Eyes, Zombie Lupins, Paper Lantern Ghost.

Lvl 54-59
Block Golems, Skeledogs, NightFox, Mummydogs, lunar pixie are good. Drakes, flyeye.

Lvl 60-65
clang clang, lorang. Jr.Yeti, Luster Pixie is the best becos you can hunt for lots of Dark crystal ores for your job advancement later. Stone Golems at the temple.

Lvl 63-70
Coolie, Skeleton Soldier and Mixed Golems are good. Preferably MG when you are nearing lvl 70 so that you wont need so much Hits to KO a MG.

Q: Can I max Savage Blow 1st? It’s so cool!

No, because maxing savage blow 1st means that you are compromising on your damage. At lvl 37 u are hitting 6 hits of 13, 40, 23, 5, 15, 48 that is pathetic.

Q: Why pump mastery til lvl 19?

Level 19: Dagger mastery 60%, accuracy +19
Level 20: Dagger mastery 60%, accuracy +20
There is no point in pumping an extra SP just for a +1 accuracy

Q: Why max endure and not steal?

Endure allows us to recover more MP when we are hanging on a rope, while steal has not much use to us becos we have pickpocket at 3rd job.

Q: Why max dark sight?

Maxed dark sight allows us to stack it with haste, meaning have both haste and darksight at the same time. This allows us to travel from places to places much faster n easier without any lost of HP n also to escape high lvl mobs, provided they are not angry and start shooting you with magic.

in addition. maxing dark sight is a bonus in 4th job too... look under assasinate.

Q: Booster or haste 1st?

I recommend you to pump booster into lvl 6 1st, then max haste.

* Note that at lvl 40, 50, 60, you cant wear both your equipment and weapon at the same time due to a lack of 5 AP, only at lvl 61 then you can wear it. You may consider wearing equipment with + dex or luck to enable you to wear your weapons and vice versa.

Chief Bandit

Congrats!Now u are ready to be a chief bandit!!

Go to El Nath - Chief Residence and speak to Arec. After talking to Arec, head back to Victoria Island and talk to Dark Lord which is located in Kerning City. Next, find the Door of Dimension located at Monkey Swamp II and it'll bring you to "The Path of the Glittering Crystal". Walk until the end of the path and enter the portal to defeat the wiseman's dark side to obtain the Black Charm.

Return to Dark Lord and exchange the Black Charm for a Necklace of Strength. Return to El Nath after that and give the item to Arec. Head on to the Holy Ground at the Snowfield (Sharp Cliff II). 1 Dark Crystal is requirred to answer 5 questions to obtain the Necklace of Wisdom. Again, head back to Arec in El Nath and give him the Necklace of Wisdom.

Okay, now is the decision making time. There are 3 types of build you can choose from.
• Band of thieves (BOT) build
• Assaulter (AST) build
• Mesos Explosion (ME) build

Q: huh? Wads the difference b/w these 3 builds?

BOT build means training at Forest of Golem from lvl 70-90, there the spawn and drop is really good and you can earn lots of mesos there too.

AST build means training at coolie, and some people say higher lvl mobs also.

ME build is for people who are REALLY REALLY rich, because you are bombing away all your mesos, but it is very very quick leveling, and you can train on ANY high level mobs.

Q: OMG, then which should I choose?

For me, I chose the BOT build because the drops is really good, and can earn lots of mesos, but it is really up to how funded you are and all.

Mixed golem! if you are bored, you can go to the WATER GOBLIN. the new SG map Slimey at ghost ship 2.

Lvl 86-98

Parking lot/armoury.

Lvl 99-120

Q: APPLE! MG is so slow! sobs

For me,I am funded by my own priest, so from lvl 82 onwards i started training at gobbies.

Q: I also wanna train at gobbies too!

Then you must 1st unlock mesos guard, and pump it to a decent lvl 3. then pump mesos explosion to a lvl that you want. but take not tat by doing so, u'd be delaying the MAXing of your assaulter.

Q: why must i pump mesos guard?

Without mesos guard, gobbies will be bombing u instead.

Q: Why save the SP from lvl 74-75?

For every 6 lvls of BOT, the damage will be highest. I don’t recommend you to use BOT whose level is less than 12, because it is just a waste of MP. Just use SB, the dmg is good anyway.

Q: Why pump BOT into lvl 18 only initialy?

Because it is not easy to find 5 or 6 MG or other mobs together at the same time. A lvl 18 BOT is enough to sustain you. But AST is a must to max.

Q: Why not max out shield mastery?

Because to me it is a totally useless skill.
